I genuinely appreciate the Evo concept, but I believe it could see significant improvement with just two adjustments. Firstly, the requirement to play the games should replace the need to win them. Currently, I’m working on the Evo for Marchesano, which demands a total of 58 wins, and I’ve already completed Neto, which required 40 wins. Following Marchesano, I’ll be tackling Dunn box-to-box, which adds another 40 wins to the total, making it a staggering 138 wins in total.
Squad battles, while effective, tends to be mind-numbingly boring. However, trying to accumulate such a large number of wins in Rivals (where I win about one in three in Div 3) and Champs (with an average of 11 wins) is just not practical. I wouldn’t mind losing games in these modes if it contributed to the Evo objectives. I propose the addition of a golden goal mode that serves as an alternative to rack up these wins.
My second concern is the inability to pursue two Evos simultaneously without resorting to a glitch. Given the expiration dates on these Evos, like Dunn’s with only 16 days left, I find myself needing to win six games every day to meet the 98-win target in time. This doesn’t even account for the additional games I’ll lose in Rivals to get to seven wins and in Champs. This workload would be significantly reduced if simultaneous progression were allowed without exploiting glitches.
I acknowledge that no one is forcing me to play all these games. Despite the grind, I’m genuinely pleased with the Evo concept. Neto has been outstanding and cost me only 10k FC 24 Coins, Marchesano looks promising once completed, and Dunn’s gold card is still impressive, making her Evo a highly anticipated upgrade. However, the grind to complete several Evos can be overwhelming.
I believe a considerable portion of frustration stems from the insistence on wins and not considering various types of wins to carry the same weight. This applies not just to Evolutions but to all objectives. To expedite progress, I suggest implementing a point-based system, where different modes and difficulty levels contribute varying points:
SB Semi-Pro Win: 1 Point
SB Professional Win: 2 Points
SB World Class Win: 3 Points
SB Legendary Win: 5 Points
Rivals Div 10-7 Win: 4 Points
Rivals Div 6-4 Win: 7 Points
Rivals 3-1 Win: 10 Points
Rivals Elite Win: 15 Points (because you're already a god)
The scaling of points can be adjusted based on data analytics, allowing players to take calculated risks to expedite the otherwise monotonous process.
