Before you begin this quest you will need to be able to kill a level 13 monster. If you cannot kill a monster who is that strong yet you should train until you are able to kill one since the quest requires it.
To start this quest you will need to be in the city of Lumbridge There you will find the Father Aereck in the city’s church. He will tell you that there is a ghost haunting the Lumbridge graveyard. He is the priest of the Lumbridge church of Saradomin, but even he doesn’t know how to get rid of this pesky ghost! He will ask you to go find Father Urhney about the ghost haunting. Now the problem is that the Father Urhney is not in the city of Lumbridge, but is in a small shack in the swamp. To get to the swamp you will need to walk around the castle in Lumbridge and around a fence to reach the shack. The Father should be inside of his shack just click on the door to open it. To talk to the Father click again, this time on the character. After talking to him you should gain an item from the Father, put this on. This necklace is an amulet that will allow you to talk to and understand ghosts. It is called an amulet of Ghostspeak. Now you will want to head back to the graveyard. Enter the building that has a coffin inside, now open the coffin. A ghost will appear out of the casket and you can now talk to the restless soul. After you finish talking to him you will have a better idea of what’s really going on. He will tell you that there was a wizard who stole his skull.
Now think. . . Where can we find wizards? At the wizard’s tower. Just click on your world map tab and wait for the map to load. You will want to take any equipment, armor and weapons that you will need to kill the level 13 skeleton. Now the tower is south west of Lumbridge and you will have to go through some dangerous places so keep an eye out for aggressive Non Playable Characters or NPC’s. Just run away from any such threats, you can fight them only if you are sure you can kill them with out dieing. Now when you reach the wizards tower you will need to climb the ladder down to the basement. Head down to the north east room and search the alter, when you do this a skeleton will appear. You can kill him now and then leave with the skull. Go back up the ladder and head outside the tower. To get back to the graveyard you will need to head back north east to Lumbridge. When you get back to the graveyard you will have to enter the building with the ghost’s coffin. Now click on the skull and use it with the ghost’s coffin. The Ghost should thank you for all of your hard work.
You have now completed the quest of the restless ghost. For your reward you will receive one quest point, 1125 prayer experience points, and of course your Ghost speak amulet. You will want to hold onto this amulet for future quests on member’s world. If you do not want to hold onto it because you don’t have room in your bank or you lost it when you died there is one way to replace it. If you want the Father in the swamp can replace it just go back to the shack and talk to him.
