What items are casual players hoarding? I’ve noticed a trend of people expressing frustration over limited storage space. However, it’s worth noting that gems don’t warrant hoarding, and hoarding hearts is unnecessary. Generally, you only need to maintain a perfect aspect of each type you intend to use in the future, along with perhaps one of each unique aspect. Personally, I’ve been consistently playing since launch, and I’ve yet to encounter a situation where my storage space is close to being full. It appears that mastering the art of salvaging and selling items is crucial here.
Though I wouldn’t classify myself as a hoarder, I’m an individual who takes pleasure in experimenting with various builds. Let’s set aside the debates about alt characters, which indeed carry weight.
In my case, I’ve progressed with an Eternal Sorceress at level 85 and a Seasonal Rogue at level 100. My recent experiences with the Rogue stand out vividly. I’ve accumulated an entire tab filled with aspects. Given my focus on using Barrage, I’ve amassed 3 to 4 maximally rolled aspects as extras. Considering my upcoming transition to the Flurry build, I’ve also secured 3 to 4 aspects accordingly. I keep multiple copies of the most frequently utilized aspects, particularly those not readily found in codices, as these drops might prove elusive in the future (an example being 2 Umbrals boasting 4 resource rolls). This usage comprises merely 1 out of 5 tabs.
It’s accurate to state that hoarding gems isn’t necessary, but it’s advisable to hold one stack of each, a similar approach to hearts. Additionally, retaining an extra copy of aspects in use can be beneficial if you choose to switch your gear around, maybe you can get more diablo 4 gold. This utilization occupies approximately half a tab. Alongside this, incorporating unique drops suited to your character class occupies yet another tab, totaling 2 out of 5 tabs.
Considering the necessity of having a tab dedicated to gear and weapons for potential experimentation, re-rolling, imprinting aspects, or testing out different builds, we’re now at 3 out of 5 tabs.
Reserving 1 tab for a temporary item dump proves useful for items you’d like to review later or when you’re in the midst of Helltide events and would rather not sift through every item in your character’s inventory while the event is underway. This practice is also handy during NMD runs.
We’re now at 4 out of 5 tabs, and this discussion revolves around the storage needs of a single character. Clearly, this is a matter that demands attention and resolution. The situation becomes more complex when considering multiple characters, particularly when different classes come into play. In fact, aspects alone could warrant an entire dedicated tab per class if one engages with various classes and builds.
